Who Can Be Nominated?

There are 8 seats available on the Council. Members who have reached the Fellow or Graduate level, or those who have completed all College levels and become a Faculty member, are eligible for nomination. All nominees must have renewed their enrolment for 2025.

Who Cannot Be Nominated?

Students and Faculty who have not been previous members of the College are not eligible for nomination.

How to Nominate Yourself

Nominations will open in September. Eligible members will receive a call for nominations email with a link to a platform where they can confirm their interest in being included in the candidate list. Candidates will need to upload a photo and a statement of intent (250 words max) explaining why they should be elected.

Students will receive a separate email encouraging them to nominate Fellows and Graduates for the role.

Can I Nominate Someone Else?

If you think someone would be ideal for the Council, we encourage you to contact them directly and ask them to nominate themselves.

How Will Nominees Be Pre-Selected for Elections?

A nomination committee will approve the final candidate list for the Council elections. They will consider the nominee's length of membership, election statement, specialty, and country to ensure balanced representation.

Who Can Vote?

All Students, Fellows, and Graduates enrolled in the College for 2025 can vote.

How to Vote?

Eligible voters will receive an email inviting them to vote. Votes can only be cast once, and the ballot will be open for 3 weeks.
